So I get a big DJ gig this past weekend, and i’m still straight vinyl, so I go to DJ Hut, and pick up a few new tunes, including Recloose feat. Joe Dukie “Deeper Waters” single. I say to myself, where do I recognize this voice. It’s the lead singer from Fat Freddy’s Drop. This is a New Zealand band that perfectly combines the sound of Reggae/Soul/and Downtempo.
