Well, Esperanza Spalding is one of those artist that you really want to get up on right now because the buzz is growing like crazy. Her self entitled album “Esperanza” is slowing getting in the hands of music lovers all over the world.

She is the truth! Saw her up at the Roots picnic. Little lady with a big fro and an even bigger bass handling her bidness! I was definitely feeling her. Got a few vids of her too. I have to check out the interview because I’m interested in knowing more about her.
when i first heard her it was such a bless-ed day. its as if, her music is a revival for the up and coming jazz artist with an undeniable ode to those before her. it’s authentic, classic, but o’so fresh! needless to say i copped my tickets for the show.:) thanks for the interview post..
